Mobile Game Road Map

  • Player Intention
    • My intention is to make a fun mobile game with story elements in it.
  • Theme
    • The theme of the game is sci-fi.
  • Background/Story
    • The story is that your character was just shot down in the middle of a battlefield on an alien planet. Their goal is to return to allied territory by traversing enemy vessels and bases.
  • Game Length
    • The total time it should take to play the game is about 10 minutes.
  • The Reason Why
    • The reason I made the game the way it is because I wanted to try and make a different themed game from my usual medieval fantasy. Each level is progressing the story with a different challenge or look to the level. I started by coming up for an idea of what I could theme a maze around. Why would a character go through a maze? How would a maze fit naturally into a world? I then came up with two ideas, either having a compound be a maze or a battlefield trench system. From there I added levels with the transition being a teleporter that takes you to these different areas. Each level needed to have a different way you travers the level or the at the least, the level needed to look different.
